NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) has activated the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in response to a wildfire impacting areas of Calhoun County. This activation enables state agencies and partners to coordinate closely, assess evolving conditions, and support resource needs as the situation develops.
ADEM is working with state, local, and federal agencies to monitor fire behavior, evaluate threats to communities and infrastructure, and ensure timely support for firefighting operations. SEOC staff remain activated to coordinate resources, assist county officials, and maintain situational awareness as response efforts continue.
ADEM will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available and encourages the public to follow guidance from local officials and trusted sources.
