Mrs. Easter Mae Harding, 1942-2026

Mrs. Easter Mae Harding, 84, of Warren, Arkansas, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Chapel Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warren, Arkansas.

Born on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1942, in Johnville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Artie Terry. Easter found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved cooking, traveling, fishing, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she loved them with a devotion that knew no bounds.

On April 28, 1957, she married the love of her life, Joe W. Harding. Their union was blessed with six children and was built on a foundation of love, faith, and commitment. Together they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage.

In the early 1970s, Easter was added to the body of Christ and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ who sought to live according to God’s Word.

Easter worked for Potlatch Corporation for many years before dedicating herself fully to her greatest calling—being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into caring for those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Artie Terry; her siblings, Winford Leon Terry, James Cecil Terry, Silvester Terry, and Loretta Terry; and her beloved daughter, Priscilla Mae Leonard.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted husband, Joe W. Harding; her children, Billy Harding, Stacey Harding (Norma), Debra Ann Harding, Kevin Harding (Dionne), and Christopher Harding; her brothers, Claudis Terry (Deloris) and Curlie Terry (Leda); 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at West Central Church of Christ, 1101 W. Central St., Warren, Arkansas 71671. Interment will follow at Harding Family Cemetery in Warren, Arkansas.

Services are entrusted to G.W. Hammons Funeral Home.
