Bradley County to Open Warming Center if Power Outages Occur

WARREN, Ark. — Bradley County officials say a warming center will be opened if power outages occur as winter weather impacts the area.

According to a statement shared by the Bradley County Courthouse, the Bradley County Services Building, located at 302 Smith Road, will serve as a warming center if electricity is lost. County officials noted that overnight accommodations will also be provided if conditions require extended stays.

The county plans to offer coffee, tea and water to those who use the facility. Individuals are allowed to bring their own snacks if they choose. Officials emphasized that no smoking, vaping or drug use of any kind will be permitted inside the building or on the property.

County leaders said additional needs will be addressed as they arise and that more information will be shared as weather conditions develop and officials gain a clearer understanding of what residents may be facing.

Residents are encouraged to stay alert for further updates as weather conditions continue to change.
